The Emotionally Upset Witness
The interviewer can point out how the emotionally upset witness can get relief. Relief is only available if he or she tells the truth and relieves the burden from his or her mind. The interviewer concentrates on exploiting the emotional state of the witness. The interviewer may point out that telling the full story to the interviewer can achieve calm and peace of mind.
