Evaluation and Settlement

The evaluation of a first party property insurance claim is objective. On the other hand, the evaluation of a liability claim includes multiple subjective elements. Therefore, the adjuster must know both the objective and subjective methods of evaluating a claim. In either case the purpose of claims evaluation is to be certain that the person insured receives the indemnity promised by the insurer.
