Insurance 101 – Volume 36 – Torts


Torts are civil wrongs against the person or property of another. Fortuitous or unintentional torts are the reason why people buy liability insurance. It is incumbent on the part of an insurance claims person to understand the law of torts so that a proper investigation of a claim and defense of an insured can be provided.
