Rescission Requirements

The adjuster should become familiar with the definitions used in the jurisdiction in which he or she works. The general rules regarding denial of premiums to an insured guilty of fraud outlined above should be reasonably accepted by most states. Rewarding a person for his or her fraud would be a violation of the public policy of every state.
