When the Limitation Period Starts – 2

In Colorado, a cause of action for a bad faith tort claim accrues “on the date both the injury and its cause are known or should have  been known by the exercise of reasonable diligence.” A bad faith tort claims accrued when the plaintiff knew or should have known, respectively:  of their injury, and of the cause of their injury.
