Analogy to Salvage for a Marine Policies

Salvage is an equitable doctrine that is applied to insurance law to make insurance viable against the hazards of the sea. It is the land-bound aspect of salvage with which this chapter is concerned. Marine policies contain correct language to protect the insurer.
