More Conducting the Interview

The psychological impact upon a witness left alone in the room is useful. The impact is that much greater when the door opens and a confident and businesslike stranger walks in ready to interview. Of course, often the interviewer will have talked with the witness before the interview. If this has happened, someone else can still build up the suspense while escorting the witness into the room.
