Document Everything About the Fire

The basic fire investigation starts with an overall view of the scene. By observing fire patterns and the application of the basic laws of fire behavior, the adjuster can trace the fire to a specific area of origin, and follow the fire from the area of least damage to the area of greatest damage. In most cases, although not all, the worst damage occurs where the fire burned the longest.
